At Paulo Bay, our candles are hand-poured with care to bring warmth and ambiance into your space. Following these candle care instructions will help you enjoy a clean, long-lasting burn.
Paulo Bay Candle Care Instructions
Before Burning
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use.
Place your Paulo Bay candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface.
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface (about 2–4 hours) to prevent tunneling.
While Burning
Do not burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Keep the wick centered and free of debris.
Burn candles within sight and away from drafts, children, and pets.
Never move the candle while the wax is hot or melted.
After Burning
Extinguish safely using a candle snuffer or by gently blowing out the flame.
Allow wax to cool completely before relighting.
Trim the wick again to ¼ inch before the next burn.
Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains.
